The Mini-Grids Partnership (MGP) hosts thematic working groups, which are demand-driven and focused on delivering tangible outputs and deliverables. Current working groups deal with growing the load and regulation and institution for radical scale.

The MGP currently hosts two working groups:

Growing the Load

Growing the Load is demand-driven and focused on delivering tangible outputs and deliverables. This group discusses ways to systemically promote load growth through productive uses, asset financing, and training across the entire mini-grid sector in a coordinated fashion.

Regulation and Institutions for Radical Scale

Regulation and Institutions for radical scale  is demand-driven and focused on delivering tangible outputs and deliverables. This group discusses what is needed to approve and monitor many hundreds or even thousands of mini-grids per country, per year, and how to support and implement such changes.
