The Mini-Grids Partnership (MGP) hosts thematic working groups, which are demand-driven and focused on delivering tangible outputs and deliverables.

From February to May 2021, two Working Groups were organized:  Growing the load and Regulation and institution for radical scale, which comprised of MGP members from academia, financial institutions, international organizations, mini-grid developers, etc. Both Working Groups met in four sessions, addressing key needs, challenges and opportunities related
to load growth and demand stimulation, as well as regulatory aspects of mini-grids, with a problem solving and action oriented focus.
